Hi all,

seeking some expertise here as Im at a complete loss as to what to do. at work I can connect to the Internet and open any webpage (for the most secure to the most dodgy) and download anything. But!

I cannot telnet, hence I cannot mud. Can anyone help me please? all i know is that i do go thru a proxy server when I connect to the web and that I know the ip address of this proxy server.

Any ideas/pointers/help would be dearly appreciated. thank you!:)

Have you entered the ip of the proxy in the Proxy Firewall setup of zmud? You can find it under General Preferences/Connection.
You can use either socks4 or telnet ports,
but i recommend socks4.

If that doesn't work, the ports are closed. Or telneting to other ports than 23 may be closed. Either way there is no other way but to ask your sysadm to open telnet or socks4 for you. And that may not be popular ;)
