#Capture

Is there anyway u can modify the standard #capture command to port a random number of lines from your parent window to a child window?

I ask as I, like many have several child windows designed to capture tells, gossips etc. However I find that if a gossip, for example, exceeds one line I only get the first line of the message - leaving one in a state of confusion. Now I believe I can specify the number of lines that can be captured, but I don't want to set this to say 4 lines, when the majority of gossips, tells etc are simply "hello".

So my question is how do i modify my triggers to cope with any scenario?

current trigger:

#tr {tells you} {#capture tell}

Thanks in advance.

You'd have to find a way to define the end of a tell, something like a prompt, a full stop or whatever, and use that to stop capturing.. Maybe even the colour, if it's coloured, will help.

If you can't capture based on colour then

Idea#1
Change your mud screen width setting
to a very large number so zMud wraps it
not the mud.

Idea#2
As Castaway suggested, if the stuff you want
to capture ends in a trailing " or whatever
see:
Rainchild's example
