ZMUD 6.25 beta

I just upgraded my zmud 6.22 beta to 6.25 beta but 6.25 replaced my old char database: chardb.DAT, chardb.BLB, char.dbt, chardb.IDX. I renamed these files and copy/pasted my old chardb files from 6.22 but when I started zmud, it reverted to 6.22. Is there a way for me to use my old character database from 6.22 in 6.25? Please help. Thanks.
