benchmarks

I just wanted to say that after v5.55 which I am still using Zmud has messed up a bit with these windows features and I don't believe those benchmarks are true because speed is dropping after 5.55.
I am using P2 300Mhz with 192Mb memory but
Zmud v6.25 is so slow that lines show up
like there is a #wait 1000 after each and
some lines even appear in wrong order.
It is a great mud client and I like sound
of new features in v6.xx but it's a shame
I can't use those. I think some windows refreshing functions need more tweaking
because application spends more time on
refreshing and adjusting sizes than on
things it should like triggers and etc.
MUDs are text based games and hardware reqs should not go up like for graphical games.

Your specs are more than enough to run zMUD. Perhaps your problem is somewhere else.

Could be something with your settings file. Try following the steps under Corrupted Settings in the Migration Guide to see if that helps a bit.

Also, some commands and functions have changed from 5.55 to the 6.x version which might cause your problem. For example, in 5.55, using #WAIT in a trigger worked alright. In 6.x, #WAIT was changed and now using it inside a trigger means that you won't see any further MUD output until the #WAIT finishes.
