Can I (if so, how?) add a background picture to the automapper?
if not, i'd like to put that onto the wishlist :)

This has also been requested for the main MUD window, and Zugg has said that if he ever does it, it would be very very low on his to do list and it would have to be after all visible bugs in zMUD have been fixed and all the other feautures he wants to do have been added.

well, i don't understand much of prgramming, but i think, that it's harder to implement background into a moving ansii enviroment, then to be able to make the background of a static eviroment, which the mapper is. there could be just another button at the background-color setting.

It's not the complexity of progamming it because Zugg knows that that would be easy to do. It is just that it is a minor cosmetic change, which Zugg doesn't see as really necessary. This goes along the same way as a skinable zMUD. Zugg says that he isn't very much motivated to do it, but if sometime in the future it is going to be done, it would have to be very very low on the to do list because there are many other important code changes to be done first.
