Perhaps a few more details? What version of zMUD? AOL? Windows? Was zMUD installed first? Do you get an error message when you try to run zMUD? Open a character profile? Connect? If yes, what?

First thing to do it uninstall AOL. Next you must burn your computer before AOL infects your monitor. Then get new ISP.

That is all a joke except the get a new ISP part.

Isn't AOL 7 out? That seems to be what their propaganda ;) says... Anyway, try using plain vanilla telnet to see if that works. If it does then try a fresh install of zMUD.

If that works, some file probably got corrupted. You might try some of the suggestions in the migration guide (http://www.zuggsoft.com/zmud/migrating.htm ) to retrieve your settings.
