Colon (:) at beginning of command? |
I've read as much as I could think might apply of the online help, but can't work this out.
When I enter any command beginning with one or more colons (:), the colons disappear from the command before it is processed. They don't show up in the echoed command text, and the moo doesn't see them either.
What is going on, here? How do I change it? |

If your wanting to actually send the colon then precede the colon with a tilda ~ because zmud uses the colon to focus a window. You can change what the focus character is by clicking on Prefs. then looking for 'special characters' find the colon and change it to whatever suits you.
I think(and hope) this will resolve your issues.

Thank you! Worked like a charm. (Actually just turned off that character, rather than changing it, as I was clearly getting along just fine without it.)
