I use zMUD probably 70% for talkers and 30% for muds. I don't have the time or know-how to configure it to do anything fancier than tick timers, so I haven't messed around with configuration. However, every time I type a capital 'D' my sentence is interrupted and it looks something like:

shout HELP ME BLESSED MOTHER
You shout 'HELP ME BLESSE'
Cannot match command 'MOTHER!'
___________________________

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I would appreciate it a ton, as this is getting extremely annoying!

Seems like you somehow changed your command separator character to D. With your character open, clicks on the Prefs button, then go to Special Characters and change the Separator Char back to a ;

Ok, I found what you are talking about (thanks for the help!) and attempted to change it, and an error window popped up when I hit "apply":

If it happens everytime that you try to change it, it could means that your settings are corrupted. If you don't care about loosing your settings (including your timers) then you can do this:
In the character selection screen, select your character and click on Edit. Look under the Files tab and see what filename appears as the Primary Settings File. Now, look for this file under your zMUD directory and delte it. This is the simple and easy fix.

If however, you do not want to loose your settings, try the method described here, under the Corrupted Settings File heading.

You might also try using the "OK" button instead of the "Apply" button.
