i know my settings are loaded, because when i type my aliases, they work. my triggers also work...but when i open settings, nothing shows up....the edit box is no longer there, the list itself is no longer there. i click all, i've tried clicking each individual one like paths, but nothing shows up. i've made sure everything is checked under show. it looks to me like a layout problem, like you can make the directory list on the side disappear and reappear by dragging it left and right, but there's no option here to drag anything.

This may or may not be your problem, but make sure that your main window is active before opening up the settings screen. I.e. if you have a child window for tells or something.

Kill rather than be killed.
