O.K. I know I'm a jerk for bumping this up myself, but it is VERY frustrating....and mudding through a telnet client is lame.

It's not that I *can* answer your question and are just choosing not to, I really don't know. My registration process went through without a hitch. *shrug* Perhaps the rest of us are in the same boat.

I would go ahead and email the support people at elicense and see if they can't help you. If you've changed the proxy settings to match your work proxy, then it shouldn't be a problem, but perhaps elicense is trying to use a port that is closed? I don't know, your best bet would be to email elicense and give them as much info as you can, your settings, your OS, etc. and they should be able to help you.

Is there a way or a program that I can use to find out what my work proxy settings should be? Out sys admin is a B!#@# and it probably wouldn't go over well.
Thanks in advance.
Oh yeah...that error message I keep getting is -12...if that helps. |

Seriously. Email elicense tech support (support@elicense.com). THey know the error codes and how to work with the licensing program far better than we mortals.

Even if you can figure that out (Look in Internet Explorer's Tools|Options|Connection tab), that's not to say that you can make eLicense use it. You can try tho.
