Menu Trouble

Greets everybody,

Ok, I've been looking through the help files that are provided with Zmud and I don't quiote get how to make a Menu from a button. I can make the actualy button, but as for it having something besides a pretty name I can't do anything with it. In the help file it said something about Classes and Sub-Classes. I don't get that at all. If somebody could perhaps provide and example it would be greatly appreciated. Anything at all would be greatly appreciated.

First, create a new class folder. You can name it anything you want, but we'll assume that the button name is Test and the class folder name will be TestMenu. In the trigger pane, click on the icon for TestMenu to highlight it. Some properties and such should appear in the Edit window to the right. One of them should mention something about Submenu or something. Make sure that it's checked.

Within that folder, put all the speed menu items (you can create speed menus via the New button in the Settings editor). These speed menus are where the guts and glory of your menu choices go.

Back to the button. In the Value section, put the name of the class folder containing all the menus and set the button-type to Menu. Presto, you have a menu-style button!

To make submenus, simply rinse and repeat, except that you do to the speed menus what you do to the button (in the value section).
