pattern and the editor

I'm trying to use the editor to natch the pattern ~[*%p~] in the pattern field of the editor, then I save it and it cleas the pattern field? whats up?

Which version are you using? Is it the actual trigger's pattern that's clearing or is it the "test trigger" text field that's clearing? I didn't quite understand where you were when this happened to you.
