HELP! All the buttons disapeared! |
zMUD 6.16 crashed... and when I started it again, all the buttons to access 'Triggers' 'Automapper' etc. were gone. I can still get to the features via the menus, however.
Help!
Oh, all the buttons in the characters menu still work fine.
Just when a mud is open, no buttons at the top.

OK. Since I have gotten no replys, I will add some more information:
The buttons ARE inabled in global settings.
(They still do not exist)
Also, the history of what I have typed is gone.
Please, if you have ANY idea of how to fix this, post!

Not sure if you're using the autohide feature of the menu bar at the top... and I'm also not sure if it works any differently if that menu is fixed in place... but if you resize the bar with all the buttons on it, you should be able to get them back... just drag the bottom edge down a bit and stuff.

As for your command history, you might need to go into prefs and enable it, set the number of commands kept in memory, etc.

Well, it's working again.. but it's really strange how it happened.
First I got the buttons working (more or less), and desided to start on the command history. Found in the settings that this was set to 0. Set it to 10. WOW! Errors! Every few seconds it would pop up some error about the scroll buffer or something every 2 secs.
So I quit, and told it NOT to save settings. I thought "damn. now I need to fix the buttons again, and this time I am not going to touch the command history with a 10 foot pole.
Imagine my supprise when, upon starting zMUD again, that EVERYTHING worked! Buttons were back to normal, and so was the command history.... go figure :)
