Silent disconnection from inactivity
 
I've seen previous threads like this one: https://zuggsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=29688

But if I idle on CMUD, and only CMUD, the connection isn't just dropped. It's invisibly lost. So when I go to put a command into CMud, oops, suddenly the client realizes I've been disconnected.

Was a solution for this ever found?

The only solution i ever found was to set an alarm to send an innocuous command to the game at regular intervals.
