Slowdown in Cmud Mapper

I spent a lot of time developing decent and gorgeous maps for CMUD for one specific MUD (Materia Magica), however it now significantly slows down my client, even on a 3900x with 16GB 3200Mhz RAM. There are numerous rooms, which I believe is the problem. I don't want to have to start from scratch with the maps. Is there anything I can do to modify the files, make them faster, or export them so I can use them in a non-slow client? anything?

Zoom in so you see less of the map at any given time. That should help.
