CMUD 3.34 - Package Editor freezing, CMUD lock up |
I have a single trigger that causes my package editor and CMUD to lock when highlighted/selected. I am just trying to delete the trigger as obviously the syntax is quite screwy. Currently it is only a trigger pattern as there is no code set to fire. Also, cannot export ALL to XML as that also causes CMUD to lock.
Anyone ever try manually editing the PKG file? When opening in notepad++ I can find the line that corresponds with my trigger. So far any attempts to delete the code manually have resulted in a broken PKG. Any suggestions as to other editors that might work or any known work arounds for CMUD locking.
any help would be appreciated as i have hacks that need slashing!

Have you tried disabling triggers via the small gun icon in the bottom right corner?
Though that is very unusual behavior from CMUD.
Almost sounds like corrupted files.
You can always try reinstalling the program after retrieving your key from the store side of the website. |

I did try that. I disabled triggers, parsing, etc... Still every time that one trigger was selected in the package editor.... FREEZE! Here's how I got around it.
I loaded the package editor and expanded all classes. I located the bogus trigger and then selected everything above and everything below it. I was then able to export selection to XML. I nuked the package file, created a new instance and did an import of the XML. Now I have all settings except that bogus trigger. I've been using ZMUD and then CMUD for nearly 25 years. This really was the wonkiest thing I've ever encountered.
