Automapper issue

I'm trying to create a map for a mud I play and the tutorial says to click on the Map button on the tool bar and an Auto Configuration window will pop up...when I do this the only thing I get is a blank map panel and nothing more. What am I doing wrong?

You haven't done anything wrong.
The next thing to do is select the Config menu of the map and select Reconfigure.

Then the window will pop up.
Whenever you make new #TRIGGERs with commands that affect the map (like #NODIR, #OK, #NOMAP, #TAG) you should remember to reconfigure the map again, so it updates its room detection abilities.

The map window will have its own menu bar.
One of the Menu items is Config, the next to last item before Help.
Click it to open the drop-down menu.
