CMUD Help

I've set up my MUD and all seems well. However I've set CMUD to auto-download sound/music files I don't have.

It seems to make folders fine, and I got a screen shot of it 'downloading file', but no audio file ever downloads. The sound file plays fine if I manually place it in the local folder, but I can't figure out what I've done wrong.

You may have to mess around with the MSP section of prefs.

Otherwise, perhaps show us the trigger calling the sound you are having issues with?

chprint(ch, "!!MUSIC(music/battle.mid V=80 L=-1)");

I've tried it with and without the U= tag. Maybe I'm confused as to where I need to locate my folders on the MUD host? I got it to a point where it downloaded a text document with my MUD server's address as the filename? But not the .mid. It creates the directories just fine, so im sure Im just pointing to the wrong file location or something..

Okay... so I got some progress I think...

It now creates the Sounds/music dir, and tries to download battle.mid. Problem is now it just hangs at 0%. It creates the file locally, but it contains no data.

chprint(ch, "!!MUSIC(music/battle.mid V=100 L=1 C=0 T=music U=http://worldofbalance.mudhosting.net:5000/msp/)");

Is this a server/client setting preventing this?

May it be an issue with write protection in the target directory?

Also when I use it I only used the U tag, maybe you are supplying too much information?
Also, the URL you provide does not look like it points to a sound file.

Here is one that I used to use, but the website fell out from under it:

#show {!!SOUND(arrow-boing.mp3 u=http://soundfxnow.com/soundfx/arrow-boing.mp3)}
