How to extract CMUD settings |
Hello, Unfortunately I am migrating from CMUD to another MUD client. I purchased zmud years ago and now that I can no longer use it on my PC I used up the trial version of CMUD and have found better free mud clients. I have all my aliases and triggers saved in CMUD that I would like to migrate over. The only thing I found was a .pkg file that looks very broken up when opened in Notepad. Is there a better way to open these files now that my trial has ran out?

Within the settings editor, under the file menu, you can export to XML.
That is likely going to be your best reference. |

You can view the data of the pkg with any SQLite database editor. I use the one found here: http://sqlitebrowser.org/
If you need help interpreting some of the information you see in there we will do what we can to help. Please don't hesitate to ask. |
