I'm sure this is a setting issue with me or i'm not doing something right, but i've tried with my current game settings and a fresh install with no settings. My mapper wont follow me around and map new rooms.

I can configure it and it will detect room name and exists and create rooms when I use the configuration tool (so when i type south it creates a room, then when i re-run the configuation, then type east, it will configure and will keep working as long as I re-run the configuration tool for every room) but if i type "east" or hit "6" to go east on the numpad, it knows i went east, but it wont create a new room on the map.

is there some setting I need to create to make a new room?

Why is this not mapping.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't find a way to delete posts but I got this working.

I had to turn an option in the mud on (option brief) for it to configure properly and start working, then I could turn it back off and it would continue to work but if it was on when i did the initial configuration it wouldn't work.
