Problem opening cmud - None of the dynamic libraries can be found: sqlite.dll.

I raised a support request and was advised to turn to the forums.

Every time I try and open cmud version : 2.37.0.0 i get the message below.

Support answer:

Quote:
I believe that this

Could not open C:\Users\XXX\Documents\My Games\CMUD\sessions.db None of the dynamic libraries can be found: sqlite.dll.

is a corrupted database. Please post your error message to the forums at zuggsoft.com and one of the guru's should be able to work with you to get that fixed.

What do I need to do to to fix this? I have tried to request a new key and download the application again but the same thing happens.

Thanks.

2.37 is shit, pure and simple. Not only is it EXTREMELY old, it's also buggier than the debut of Microsoft's next Windows OS (albeit CMud will never cause blue smoke to emanate from your computer). I understand if you can't afford to upgrade, but you will avoid tons of headaches in general if you simply upgraded to version 3.

I'm having the same issue, just started happening out of the blue. Cmud has been working flawlessly on my system for years as well. I suspect maybe a Windows update that broke it? Are we out of luck if we cannot afford the upgrade?

No, you're not out of luck. You could try the steps outlined in the corruption post stickied in this forum. Your issue is probably a simple one, but because 2.37 has SO many bugs in it it's bound to occur again--or some other hair-tearing issue--on a relatively frequent basis.

Keep in mind that 2.37 was first released something like 2 years BEFORE the v3 series was, and v3 is now closing in on its 3rd year or more.

Thanks for directing me to the corruption post - completely missed it as I came in via search. I'm back in business.
