TOR Cmud Connection

Hi, my roomy and I both play a mud together which only allows one IP. We were informed about buying a shell but neither of us wants to spend money on a game which we play for free already. While looking for free shells (can't find any that allow SSH to go outside the shell) I stumbled upon some very vague information on setting it up through the tor network. The only information on it was to set it up as a relay and connect through that. Unfortunately I am unable to get that to work and am probably setting up TOR or Cmud incorrectly. Is there anyone here who has the time and patience to explain how one would do this or work with us to set this up? Thanks in advance.
