Help with Automapper please |
I'm trying to use automapper but have a problem in that the name of outdoor rooms change.
H:71/71 V:142/133 X:500>l
Bridge Street at West City Gate on a cloudy night.
The massive square gate tower rises high above the thirty-foot stone walls,
dwarfing them by nearly twenty feet. High atop the tower, slender triangular
pendants snap crisply in the wind. The upper turrets of Castle Wivernhoe can
clearly be seen over the city wall to the southwest. A narrow street runs
along the wall to the south past the castle's fortified gatehouse. To the
north, a street paved with gray flagstones covered with soot and ash leads into
the section of the city where many smiths have their shops and forges. It's
dazzlingly bright here.
Exits: North, East, South, (West).
A red ant is busily scouring the ground here for bits of food.
A Wivernhoe gate sentry stands here on guard. (citizen)
Automapper detects the room names and room descriptions correctly but the 'on a cloudy night' can change to 'on a clear morning' or several other things.
This trigger:
pattern: ^(*) on a
value: %1
generates this:

The city name is parsed correctly and I can create rooms this way in automapper but the room name is also passed as a command to MUD and it returns a message that it doesn't recognize the command. It works but I don't want to do keep doing it.
I created this trigger:
pattern: ^(*) on a
value: #TAG name %1
Which based on the documentation here *should* work but with this enabled automapper will not even detect that I've gone to an existing room and will not create new rooms. No matter how much I move around and reset my current position the map does not update.
values I've tried:
#TAG name %1
#Tag name %1
#tag name %1
#TAG name {%1}
#TAG name (%1)
Does anyone have suggestions? I'm new to zmud so pointing out even obvious problems would be appreciated.
I should point out that indoor room names don't change and I can map/create those fine (although speedwalking doesn't work)
