MXP/ANSI Logging

Hello,
So, I turned on Ansi logging in CMud, and when that didn't work, I turned on MXP instead. And when that didn't work, I turned them both on. Still doesn't work.
The tags are there, in all their hideous glory, but I can't figure out how to actually make it display colors. I'm missing something, I just don't know what it is. Any help would be appreciated, because plain text logs suck.

What are you using to view it? Notepad doesn't to any formatting except for word wrap.

I used the Editor in CMud. It just showed the tags. Capture mode seems to work, but if I save and then try to read it in the editor later, all I get is tags.

the cmud editor is notepad, pretty sure at least
try opening it with your web browser or word |
