just a quick question (and possible explanation)

Ok, so my old hard drive's boot file messed up and I can't use it any more. I'm able to access it as an external hard drive though, and would like to know if it's possible to somehow retrieve all of my old triggers/aliases from the old hard drive. Any advice?

As long as you can see the files, I suppose you should be able to cut/copy and paste them wherever you want. If you don't already have your own website or another sort of online backup, a service like Dropbox will help prevent snafus like this.
