encountering a basic(?) problem
 
It could merely be that I don't understand the whole session/package/anything-else setup, but I have a problem whereby my settings aren't saving all the time. I'll routinely load up cmud to find mxp enabled, despite my having unchecked the box, played with it off, and even saved both the package and the session. I'll also lose new aliases; that is, aliases may or may not load next time I log in, despite my saving both the session and the package.

Is there something I'm missing? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Are you on Windows Vista or Windows 7? Did you set both install paths to Program Files?
