Windows Layout Issue |
My 18 month old got at my laptop and button mashed - and somehow screwed up my main Zmud window. It looks like the below now, and nothing I know how to do seems to fix it. Any idea how to get the usual, main screen back to whatever the default settings are?
I have tried:
1. deleting and creating a new mud entry in mudlists.
2. playing with the layout options, including tabbing, auto- and quick- tiling
3. tried all of the preferences -> windows -> layout options
4. rebooting my computer
5. Right-clicking to see what windows I can bring up (the main one just appears to not be listed)
Thanks for the help.

Is this for every session icon you use?
What do you get if you just press ESC when zMUD first loads? |

I'm not sure. I fixed it myself, strangely enough.
In one of the menus, it said my windows settings were saved in the ZMUD/TILEGACY folder, so I went in and deleted that folder. Sure enough, doing that reset me back to the defaults when I re-created the ti-legacy mud.
If I have to guess, I'd think that you were right that the other muds wouldn't have had the same issue. I think in creating new entries, I was still pointing to the same folder (though I have no idea why).
Thank you for your help. I guess persistence pays off! |
