weird mapper thing |
it seems like whenever i create a new session for anything on cmud it loads a map even if i do not want a map it will load and start one up, is there a setting to change this or is it something else? even if i want a map it wont let me change the name of the map cmud makes by default

The status window is globally defined, and changing its state in one session will determine its state in another session. This is why you can sometimes see a status window as part of the untitled session, or see it in a session that doesn't have any status objects defined (and/or previously did not have the status window open).
The mapper window is opened or closed on session opening based on the existence of a mapper object, and further controlled by the session layout. It is not following the status window pattern, so there is no preference or CMud property that controls it across session boundaries. Ergo, if you are seeing a persistence in the mapper window it's because CMud thinks there's a mapper object created and the session layout has it saved in the open state. |

even in new sessions? it creates the databases and everything, and slows up the launch of muds i want to explore and try by making the loadup time unbearable for me while the mapper is making the databases
