Making A Floating Button |
In the patch notes for CMUD 3.31, Zugg announced that buttons could now be detached and placed wherever you wish. Here's the excerpt:
New Floating Buttons were added. Simply set the Toolbar property of a button to zero and it will float over the main MUD window. You can also Unlock the buttons and then drag/drop them using the mouse to whatever location you wish.
I set the button toolbar to 0, which attaches it now to one of the four corners of the window it is associated with, but I can't seem to locate the "Unlock" checkbox/button/radio/whatever that would allow me to drag and drop it. I'm probably just blind and looking right past it, but if anyone happens to know where it is or what to do, I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
Thank you for your time. |

there is no drag and drop for buttons, you have to uncheck autoposition and fiddle with the numbers

There's a layout menu option called Unlock Buttons, which will temporarily ignore the buttonbar position so you can drag them around as desired. There's no such option on an individual button basis, so you either must use this layout menu option and simply be careful not to accidentally move the others or do it like Shalimar says.
