Is there a way to pick which room of a zone the mapper will center on when viewing that zone when no location objects are currently in it?

Depends on how you get to that zone. If you're jumping across a room's exit link via room properties, it will center on the destination room. If you're using the zone tree, it should be centering on the midpoint of the zone boundaries if I recall correctly.

Usually i am using the dropdown zone menu on the mapper.

Ideally i would like it to center on a specific room as if I had just #TELEPORT there without actually changing my #LOCATION

I already have over 120 maps which contain more than 11,000 locations.

In everyday use of these annoying thing is the constant clicking the "Sort by Name" in the sidebar, bookmark "Zones" and the need to search the center of a map.
I'm not saying that every map is the center pushed off the screen. However, the 120 + maps of several of these ... annoying phenomena have.

I think the most you can report it by @Zugg topic What is your favorite feature in CMUD?

Araadan, sounds like your map is corrupted. Repair it via the MapConvert tool.

Araadan, the thread "What is your favorite feature in CMUD" is _not_ intended for suggestions about new features or bugs that need to be fixed. That thread is for posting your favorite _existing_ feature, so that Zugg can use that list of features in promoting Cmud to potential customers.

Any suggestion for a new feature belongs in new, separate thread.

In this thread, Araadan suggested using the Favorite Feature thread to request new features. Is it not appropriate that I correct that misimpression, so that no one else reading this thread will be misled?

oh i thought you meant the comment he made in that thread, i see it now. Not sure why that was even mentioned here either though... Back to zone center!
