CMud and Windows 7 |
I downloaded CMud evaluation version 2 days ago and used it successfully.
Tried to open it yesterday and today and keep getting the error message "cannot write to sessions.db" . When installing, I accepted the file location (Program Files (86)/
) but seem to remember reading something about this will not work in Win 7, but now cannot find that information. How do I change the location of the .db files so that CMud will work for me?
This is frustrating, especially when trying to decide what mud client to buy.
Thanks for any assistance. |

Apparently you accepted the program file location but changed the documents file location. They are two different settings in the installer, and in Win7 you cannot save datafiles where program files reside. It's probably fastest just to uninstall and reinstall.

Thanks very much. For some reason I thought if you uninstalled/reinstalled the evaluation version you could not use it anymore.
