Speedwalking Question |
How do you stop a slow speedwalking script from executing after you started it?
Sometimes I start the wrong speedwalk script but I can't seem to get it to stop from executing. I've try #Stop and hitting the (esc) key but it doesnt' seem to matter.

If you have triggers that send #OK or #STEP you need to disable those too.

I activate speed walking by double clicking on my destination and it is set on Fast because the rooms mapped and the rooms that are crossed are not necessarily the same in description.
I have noticed that the #STOP command would stop the Fast walking in the map window but that the commands are still being fed to the mud.
But once again this the exception but not the rule.
Then thinking that it may be a trigger I have disabled all my triggers and enabled them a few at a time, this helped to solve the problem although all the triggers that were there before is still there.
This may solve as a solution for someone with a similar problem. |

This thread is over eight years old, you know, I'm sure if someone has a similar problem they could start a new one...
