#FTP |
I know the help file says its not implemented yet... but i tired anyway, just in case the help file was out of date.
I tried to connect to a server via
#FTP open host.org:4000 name pass
But it just hung my system... has anyone managed to FTP with CMUD yet? |

It works for me. It connects to my ftp server just fine and the ftp gui refreshes to show the files on the server and goes into a 'connected' state. Can you connect to your server when you use the FTP gui or is it just the #FTP command that's not working? Both seem fine here.

This was the message I got in the connection log of the FTP window:
Socket Error # 10060 |

FTP works in CMUDPro (which it looks like you have). I don't have any trouble with it here.
The 10060 error is a socket timeout error, which means the remote server is not responding in time. You might try turning off the Passive option in the Option dropdown menu in the upper-right corner of the FTP window. Maybe your server doesn't like Passive mode for some reason. |
