Map color capture

I once captured the color of room name and room desc, and put it into my map.
the room name and room desc text was even colored in the "properties" window.
How do I do that?

Now I've only figured out how to capture the color codes using %ansi. (Which is pretty good, but a bit annoying)

Has anyone else colored name or desc text in "properties" before? Where the color was actually displayed?

Thank you!

You don't. Neither ZMud nor CMud render color in the Room Properties window, and never have. The closest you will come is including the raw color codes, and you don't really want that because changes in the game mean that room stops matching (leading to the map to stop following or create a new room).

Matt, I HAVE done it before.
I hope someone who has also done it will post.
I put a variable in a variable or something.
Thanks.

Are you sure your just not remembering the colored output that configuring the mapper gives, for the sack of confirmation?

Yeah I think so, but I couldn't figure out how to do offline mapping/walking again either.
Perhaps people can give me messed up ideas to make this possible, that'll help.
I will still search my computers for proof though =p
