Trouble Using Nano Text Editor in SSH (Cmud Pro v3) |
HI there,
I can't seem to use my text editors in SSH sessions for CMUD Pro v3.
The one I prefer to use is nano, but I can't send a CTRL+X or the other CTRL commands to the screen. I tried checking the option for having CTRL+ALT send CTRL to the 'MUD', but it didn't seem to work.
Is there a setting I need to enable, or is this an incomplete feature.
Unfortunately using sftp isn't an easy option, as I have to su into the user where the code is located. It would require a lot of extra steps just to edit a file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to Options -> General -> Session. Click on the Keyboard and ensure the that 'Character Mode' option is checked.

You might want to download and use TeSSH instead of CMUDPro. Your CMUDPro license will work for TeSSH. TeSSH has several default preferences (like the Character Mode) set to make it easier for SSH sessions.
