triggers still fire twice when one trigger displayed matching text for another |
It is said this bug has been fixed since Version 6.54 15-Mar-03 (BETA version), go ahead check the log:
www.zuggsoft.com/zmud/version.htm
But now I'm using Zmud 7.21, and I tried the following scripts:
#TEMP {1} {#ECHO 2}
#TEMP {2} {#ECHO 3}
#TEMP {3} {#ECHO 4}
#TEMP {4} {#ECHO 5}
#TEMP {5} {#ECHO 6}
#TEMP {6} {#ECHO 7}
#TEMP {7} {#ECHO 8}
#TEMP {8} {#ECHO 9}
Then I typed:
#ECHO 1
Here is the result I got:
1 <<---- this is the one I typed
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
9
8
7
6
5
4
3
2
The trigger still fired twice!!!! This bug is still there!!! |

Thanks for the 25 views and no reply....
I have tried this in Cmud and it works just as I thought. Those triggers only fire once.
Now i guess it's time for me to move to Cmud.... |

I fully recommend the move to CMUD, it's much more feature rich and stable. The folks who view the forum posts are volunteers, and answer questions when they can.
Personally this is my process.
Answer if I know the question off the top of my head.
Answer if it's a quick post, if not come back to it.
I give CMUD posts higher priority because that's what I've used since it was released.
zMUD questions usually require additional effort to test and evaluate, and usually fall to the bottom of the priority list.
If there is time I will try to test, typically by keeping the tab open and revisiting later.
Since zMUD is a frozen code-base (and an aging on at that), the number of support response will necessarily be lower. I'm sorry 2 days was not a fast enough response for you, but we are volunteers and it was the weekend. Finally, I'm glad you chosen to move to CMUD, especially with the release of the 3.x line. I believe you will be very happy with that choice. |

I also recommend CMUD, I still use my liscense of ZMUD but I've found it so much easier to use CMUD... and I purchased ZMUD back in 2005 with no regrets.
