Editor issue

The editor has snatched up a paragraph, rearranged it and sends it every time I use the editor to send.
The editor stays open all the time. If I close it, it opens again when I type.
The editor is holding on to text and just will not let go.

Neither closing CMUD nor rebooting have had any impact.

What can I do apart from uninstalling and reinstalling?

Running v 3.30 on windows 7

Thanks in advance.

As an aside, I'd like to start with a new blank clean editor each time I open it. I can see that people who are coding might not, but I'd like that to be an easier, more intuitive, idiot proof option.

I'm not sure I understand the problem you are reporting. Pressing Shift-Ctrl-Enter will open the editor window. Once you close the editor it will not open again just by typing on the command line unless you have some sort of macro that is doing that, or a trigger the is using the #capture command to open the editor.

If using the #capture command in a script, remember that if you don't specify the name of the window, CMUD will use the editor window.

Right now there isn't any way to prevent CMUD from saving the editor contents across sessions, but I'll add it as an option to the wish list for the future.
