[3.28] BUG: Slowwalk mode sending movement commands twice. (SOLVED)

SOLVED (I believe): Aetolia is currently sending Room.info twice upon room movement.

On Aetolia, with a fresh map and with a new configuration, I tried to attempt slow-walking in SLOW mode. The result was the following:

Quote:
n
nw
nw
Palace Street.
The stars twinkle in the clear night sky. A steel gray marble statue of an Atavian man has been set here. A peacemaker of Enorian stands here, one hand on the pommel of his sword.
You see exits leading south and northwest.
<4900/4300h 5500/5500m 20398e 26400w <eb lr> <>>nw
nw
Palace street south of Jeweled Terrace.
The stars twinkle in the clear night sky. There are 2 peacemaker of Enorians here.
You see exits leading southeast and northwest.
<4900/4300h 5500/5500m 20396e 26400w <eb lr> <>>
Now now, don't be so hasty!
<4900/4300h 5500/5500m 20396e 26400w <eb lr> <>>sw
sw
Jeweled Terrace.
The stars twinkle in the clear night sky. An argent intercessor is poised here, hefting an ancient-looking halberd in her glowing hands. A bright-eyed missionary serenely patrols the streets of Enorian.
You see exits leading north (closed pine door), east, southeast, and west.
<4900/4300h 5500/5500m 20394e 26400w <eb lr> <>>
There is no exit in that direction.
<4900/4300h 5500/5500m 20394e 26400w <eb lr> <>>
There is no exit in that direction.
<4900/4300h 5500/5500m 20394e 26400w <eb lr> <>>
There is no exit in that direction.
<4900/4300h 5500/5500m 20394e 26400w <eb lr> <>>Slow walking aborted

Notice how all movement commands after the first are being doubled up.

While using the mapper configuration tool I noticed this under the MUD output window:

Quote:
Palace street south of Jeweled Terrace
Palace street south of Jeweled Terrace
Palace street south of Jeweled Terrace.
The stars twinkle in the clear night sky. There are 2 peacemaker of Enorians here.
You see exits leading southeast and northwest.

Think this could be related?

I wonder if this could be related to a similar issue I'm seeing in Achaea.

In slow walk mode when speed-walking by double-clicking I find that sometimes it sends the same direction too many times causing the mapper to halt because it tried to walk into a wall. I hadn't had much time to investigate the issue, but your description sounded very similar to what I was seeing. Perhaps the major difference is that this only happens once in 10 movements for me and not every time.

If Aetolia is really sending GMCP data twice, then you should notify them about this. I don't see anything like this on Achaea.

If the map is in Slow mode, be sure you move around either by double-clicking the map, or by using the #SLOW command. Based upon your output above, it looks like you are either using a normal .nwes speedwalk or are putting multiple directions on the command line. Slow mode is not intended to work in this way. When in slow mode you need to use the #SLOW command.

You might try using Safe mode, which is the speedwalk mode normally recommended.

I've told them, and they should be fixing it soon.

Also, I am indeed double clicking to move around. Safe mode is having the same issue too.
