Corrupting data. |
CMUD corrupts my data over and over again. Putting triggers from one session into another. Reverting to old states. Repeatedly crashing etc etc.
It seems very sloppy. Why would you work on advanced features when the most basic components are unstable? |

That sounds like you're on Vista or Windows 7 and have chosen to save your data files in the Program Files folder. Although you can force this to be the case with the installer you shouldn't as you end up with problems like you are describing.

You should always tell us what version of CMUD you are using and what version of Windows you are using to get more help.
When installing CMUD, be sure to choose the %DOCUMENTS% option for the location of your User Session Data files.
If you have imported old scripts from zMUD, be sure to run the Compatibility Report in the File menu of the package editor window.
If you are getting settings from other sessions, go to the Edit Sessions and File/Packages tab and be sure that each session has it's own unique primary package file name. |
