word 'home' -> no echo...

Hey there,

I have a weird situation where if i type the word 'home' in the prompt i don't get an echo. The command gets sent to the mud at least if i only type home. I checked in the debugging screen and i see the following:

0.0005 | c 3Kingdom | [1] 3Kingdoms Comline : start :
0.0006 | a 3Kingdom |> hom
0.0004 | j 3Kingdom >hom
0.0004 | d 3Kingdom | [1] 3Kingdoms Comline : stopped
0.1732 | a 3Kingdom |There is no reason to 'hom' here.
0.0006 | a 3Kingdom ]>
0.0002 | c 3Kingdom | [1] 3Kingdoms Comline : start :
0.0005 | j 3Kingdom >home
0.0003 | d 3Kingdom | [1] 3Kingdoms Comline : stopped

From that output you can see a test with 'hom' which goes through and echoes, then with 'home' where there is no echo (after the c message i should get an a message, show session text, but it skips to j). I checked for triggers and anything that could possibly be gagging this but nothing.

I've also noticed that it effects any statement with the word 'home' in it. If i send a tell to someone, or say something, with the word home in it, there's no echo and the message won't go through to the mud.

0.0005 | c 3Kingdom | [1] 3Kingdoms Comline : start :
0.0005 | j 3Kingdom >tell gilead let's go home
0.0003 | d 3Kingdom | [1] 3Kingdoms Comline : stopped
0.0868 | a 3Kingdom |>
0.0007 | a 3Kingdom ]>

Interestingly enough, the above example also changes my ansi which i thought was odd. The prompt becomes himagenta.

Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Is your password "home" by any chance? CMud will gag all lines containing it, so maybe it's also preventing commands with the password in them from going to the mud.

Hey Matt,

Good idea, but no. I'll test with my password in a line though and see if that gets gagged. The logon script i have set up is set to disable after my password is entered anway.

Thanks though

Matt,

It wasn't my password, but it was definitely the autolog trigger. My password was being stored and somehow the word home (which isn't in the pw, i promise) was getting gagged over and over. I was able to find the link by creating a test session and found that home didn't get gagged. I think it could have been because i had two autolog classes (one of which is disabled), and the other which doesn't get disabled at login.

So this is fixed, thanks!
