Since you are using the Beta version, this question should be posted on the Beta forum. All questions regarding the Beta version should be on the Beta forum.
The Beta version is what it says--a beta test version. It is released for the explicit purpose of testing new versions before they are released for general use. When using a beta version, you can expect things to break. When things break, you should try to figure out why, so that if there is a bug it can be fixed. When you install the beta version, it explicitly asks you and requires you to agree, in the installation process, that you understand that this is a beta version and that you are expected to help find bugs in it. If you use the Beta version, you should regularly read the Beta forum, so that you know all the changes that are made in each new version, and the bugs that other beta testers have reported. If you do not wish to be a beta tester, you should not use the beta version.
To your specific problem...you say that you are getting this error even with all triggers disabled? That is very odd. Can you tell us the exact wording of the error message? Are you certain that all triggers are disabled? How did you turn off all triggers (i.e. did you use the gun icon, or turn them off individually)? Does it do the same thing in a new, blank session? |

well thanks i think it was me trying to go from beta back to non beta that was causing me issues not 100% but getting client back to beta was what got me running again thanks for the link and sorry about my frustration. Thank god i had a somewhat recent xport of all my triggers so got most of it back so that is a life saver. thanks for the quick reply. Sorry for posting this in the non beta section but i thought beta was over and i was just getting the working copy not having to upgrade to the new beta.

Wait, were you using 2.37 when it said it expired? If so, there's a problem with that and Zugg needs to know about it. Otherwise, if you WERE using Beta, then like Rahab said, you'll need to keep updated with the Beta versions.
Beta means that there will be bugs. If you don't want to lose anything and aren't interested in testing beta, don't use beta. :P

i was using an old beta version im not 100% which version as i have uninstalled it now but it said that the version had expired and i needed to reinstall so i "assumed" it was meaning to install the newest non beta version of cmud. I had only installed beta version because of problems i had encountered in the past and again i was assuming that the newest version would be compatable with an old old old version of cmud beta I "assumed" I needed to get the non beta version and install it, as i really dont have the need or desire to use beta except in the past it was the only thing i found that resolved my problems. As i found out once you have gone beta you can not go back, this was my problem it seems. Older betas not being compatable with newest non beta.. I just wish it would have told me to reinstall the newest beta not just to reinstall, as it led me to assume which was my biggest problem.
Thanks for the help.

In my case sticking to beta means no bugs, trying to use the non beta is where i have all my issues. had to switch to beta to fix problems in the frist place and now trying to switch back from beta to non beta seems to be a not so good idea. |

Ah, I see. The beta versions expire so that beta testers are forced to use the newest beta version. That's why you got the expired message. It was asking you to update to the newest version (also a beta version). The current public release version, 2.37, is over a year old, and many of the features used in the beta versions will not work under 2.37, which is why you had problems when you switched to that. Zugg is hoping to get the beta version fixed up soon to turn into a public release. Glad you got it working!
