[3.22] Memory Leak? |
I'm not sure if this is new in 3.22, but I left Cmud on last night and found it to be using 202,480K memory. Upon closing and reopening it, it was reduced to 43,716K; So, something is causing it to accumulate a hefty bit of memory usage. I had previously heard of this issue from people using 3.20, but I can't personally confirm those accounts. Has anyone else noticed this?
Edit: It could have been my buffer, but I'm fairly sure it's not normally that high, even when maxed. |

Not happening here, which probably means you have a misbehaving alarm or some other thing doing more than you are expecting it to. Try the Script Debugger and see if you can't see if something is happening.

Well, I have two alarms that continuously run:
Edit: Can't find any issue with them.
Anyhow, I'll continue to look for any issues. Mostly, I was checking to see if anyone was experiencing this. |

It's possible there is something with the new json tables that isn't freeing up memory somewhere, but the only way to pin this down is to start disabling some of your scripts to try and find the script that is running and causing the leak. When you say you "left CMUD on last night" I'm assuming you left it connected so it was still running triggers and stuff in response to text from the game. You might leave it running and unconnected to see if that also shows any problem.
