[3.17]Bug: Editor opens MUD's .txt file |
I've never had this problem before, so I think it's only affecting 3.17.
It seems that the Editor is automatically opening up the MUD's .txt file if it exists. In my case, it's Aardwolf.txt, which returns the MUD's description that is often found under the MUD listing. Going through other MUD listings, it doesn't appear to do that, though.
As far as I know, it never defaulted to opening anything up. I can't close the tab, I can't do anything other than highlight the text, delete it, and save it so I can open up an empty file each time. I know of at least one other person who can verify this bug, though.

Oops. Yes, the new version saves and restored the contents of the editor across sessions. The contents of the editor are saved to a file called MUDName.txt where "MUDName" is the name of the MUD. I had forgotten that this conflicts with the "about" txt file for the predefined MUD icons.
I'll change this filename in the next version so it doesn't conflict. |
