CMUD scrollback featurerequest |
Hi,
Could we pleeeease have the scrollback functionality work the same way as zmud did? Ie. when using the scrollback window, it shows the LAST line of text arrived at the mud, and not splits the text as where the splitscreen currently is? Its very annoying to actually have to pageup/pagedown every time you use it.
Thanks ;)

Not sure what you mean. It works exactly the same in zMUD as in CMUD. You can drag the splitter to whatever position you want and still see the live text from the MUD in the region below the splitbar.

Hi,
Hmm, true - I was misinformed, sorry. But moving the splitter to the bottom, makes it impossible to see what is currently happening on the mud tho. Any way to make the split start at last received line from mud, regardless of where the splitter is positioned?

Yes, that is exactly right and some people *like* it that way. So just don't move it to the bottom. CMUD will remember whenever you move the splitter to. So if you want it to show just the last line, then just drag the splitter up a bit until only one line is showing below the splitter. Then CMUD will remember that setting for your session.
No changes are planned to how this works. It is currently flexible enough to handle what you are asking and also work for those people who don't want the live text to be shown. |
