I've searched the archives and found the problem reported, but not the cure.

If I use EACCESS.PLAY.NET|GS4 :7900 to connect I get an alert that says LPROBLEM3 after I select the character I created using a Simutronic client. The IP address given in the alert is 206.225.28.2

If I use EACCESS.PLAY.NET|GS3 :7900 to connect, I also get to select my character. I then see:

Connected to host storm.gs4.game.play.net
<mode id="GAME"/>
Please wait for connection to game server

but I never connect nor see any retries. My icon is yellow

I read posts that lead me to believe people are successfully playing GemStone IV with CMUD. Would someone please post the solution? I've tried talking to Simultronics personnel and can't get a solution from them.

I made an error in my second example...it doesn't just sit there, it immediately disconnects after receiving the Please wait for connection to game server message.

I don't know Simutronics games, but it could be a problem with your settings.

Open your session offline. In your session, click Options|General. In the Preferences window, click Simutronics. Check your settings there. I'm afraid I don't know what to look for there, though.

I'm able to connect to the Simutronics game, DragonRealms, just not GemStone IV
