Problem while using multiple tabbed windows |
Hi!
I have a question about multiple tabbed windows in Cmud.
Im using a main mud window and aprox 18 other windows
where i cap text into. Like a sort of logging.
The problem:
When all windows are created and arranged in correct order
I save layout and quit. Next time i connect the windows does
not arrange themself in the same order again.
Cmud load them in reverse order from which i made them.
Say I have Main window, and capwindow1 capwindow2 capwindow3
capwindow1 was made first, then 2nd and last 3rd.
I arrange them like this: Main, Cap3, Cap1, Cap2 save and quit.
When i connect to my mud next time they order themself like this:
Main, cap3, cap2, cap1 = reverse order. And i cant find a way to arrange
them the way i want and save the layout and Cmud stick to that.
I had the same problem in Zmud.
The only way i can fix this is to create my windows in reverse order.
Its kinda annoying if you have 18 windows...
I would be more then happy if you guys had a solution to this!
Many thanx

I think unchecking auto-save Layout and checking off Lock Layout under the Layout option should do this.

Make sure when you installed CMUD that you selected the %DOCUMENTS% option for the location of your User Session Data Files. Otherwise newer versions of Windows might not let save files, such as your saved window layout.
You should actually leave the AutoSave Layout option turned *ON* to allow CMUD to automatically save your window layout when you quit. If you want to force the layout to be saved before you quit, use the #SAVE command on the command line. |
