Session Display issue with MXP? |
Use zMUD 7.21, display looks like this:
<75hp 70ma 141mv><ac><21266xp><1192gp><22>
l
Granite Street
Granite Street ends in a cul-de-sac. South of the street, a cold wind
howls through a jumbled pile of granite boulders that blocks passage across
a field of black sand. To the east and north, red brick shops beckon
invitingly with similar gold-painted signs. A sturdy wooden pole holding
a copper lantern has been placed at the street's end.
Exits: North East West
<75hp 70ma 141mv><ac><21266xp><1192gp><22>
There is a linefeed after any room exits or MOBs in the room.
When killing the session and reconnecting with CMUD 2.37, the same location looks like this:
<75hp 70ma 141mv><ac><21266xp><1192gp><3>

A gnomish sausage vendor walks by, toting a stick laden with sausages.

I'm trying to understand why the line feed is NOT being interpretted by CMUD, since the <prompt line> is difficult to pick up right against the room exits or the room MOBs. Any thoughts or suggestions on this would be much appreciated.
Info: Vista, zMUD, cMUD, Sloth MUD
Thanks,

That is because CMUD supports the EOR/GA protocol used by many MUDs to suppress extra un-needed blank lines. You can turn off the EOR/GA option in the Session telnet options section of the Preferences. But CMUD is actually displaying the output as intended by the MUD.
