CMUD automatic garbage at logon

Vista, with CMUD 2.37

At logon to mud (SLOTH4), CMUD kicks the garbage string to the window and rings the system bell:

By what name do you wish to be known? ÿŽ6¯ÿŽ6«ÿQtõqõuõòKÌMUpóqt·U
ÊÏÏq•ìÿ’wI-NF’q•ìÿ’wÈ,)FRâ+ÙÿRàœ‘X•wL.É/R²ÿHf¤æ@å”ì§VÀ&•VÂEÿùÿÿùÿ

Autologon for the session is off, there is no character name, nor any password in the session edit.
Brand new session - no aliases, triggers, etc., in the session package.
Get this every time I attempt to logon.

As I look at it several times, it is the same EXACT string every time.

By what name do you wish to be known? ÿŽ6¯ÿŽ6«ÿQtõqõuõòKÌMUpóqt·U
ÊÏÏq•ìÿ’wI-NF’q•ìÿ’wÈ,)FRâ+ÙÿRàœ‘X•wL.É/R²ÿHf¤æ@å”ì§VÀ&•VÂEÿùÿÿùÿ

Any idea what might be causing this?

Thanks,

I'm guessing it's something related to MCCP negotiation.

This has been fixed with the beta versions. Has also been reported numerous times. :P
