removing the ?or $ from the pattern remove the error as well as adding braces around the 1 |

Confirmed and added to bug list. It's a bug in the trigger pattern parser.

Don't know how this snuck back in since I didn't make any changes to the #trigger command parser. But I'll put it back on the bug list.
