i was trying to find a way to set a certain location when i make a new path using #path

there is nothing in the documentation

Do you mean a specific folder to store the path into? Try this:
#path myclass/mysubclass/mypathname .news(whateverpath)

In general, you can specify variables and stuff with a full heirarchical class structure.

for paths i had to use #path name runto {location of folder}

Is there a way to right-click a variable and copy it's path location?
that would be cool.
